If You Hate Israel, You're No Friend of the Jews

In his latest video, Dennis Prager explains why If You Hate Israel, You're No Friend of the Jews. Transcript, and facts sources and sources sheet available as well.
🇮🇱Zionism is the name of the movement that advocates for the return of Jews to their historic homeland. As defined by the Anti-Defamation League, Anti-Zionism is “a prejudice against the Jewish movement for self-determination and the right of the Jewish people to a homeland in the State of Israel.”

🕎The modern state of Israel was legally founded in 1948 after the U.N. General Assembly officially approved its creation in 1947 with Resolution 181. Prior to Israel’s legal founding, the region was already home to 80,000-90,000 Jews.

🌈Anti-Zionists single out Israel as an illegitimate country, failing to apply the same standard for legitimacy to the rest of the more than 200 countries in the world, no matter how controversial or bloody its origins. For example, anti-Zionists do not level the same “illegitimate” claim against Pakistan, which was formed in 1947 when India was partitioned into a Muslim state, Pakistan, and a Hindu state, India. Unlike Israel, Pakistan had never existed before. The creation of Pakistan created some 7 million Muslim refugees and another 7 million Hindu refugees and resulted in around a million Arab deaths.

Responding to Common Questions

PDF version here

QUESTION 1:
If Israel is the chosen land for all religions, and the Jews do want to live in unity with everyone - why do the Jews have the right to declare it a Jewish state and not a Muslim state?

ANSWER:
First off, we declare it a Jewish state because we have that right. Do not forget that the British had control over the land that is now Israel. They then gave the responsibility to the UN and the UN had decided to make a Jewish state. They gave land to Jews and Palestinians. Jews accepted and Palestinians/Muslim countries rejected. Muslims chose war. What were Jews to do? Die?
The Jews won in the War of Independence. They declared statehood. Why can’t they? There are 22 MUSLIM STATES. NO ONE EVER DENIED THEIR RIGHT TO DECLARE MUSLIM STATEHOOD. WHY CAN’T JEWS DECLARE JEWISH STATEHOOD?
The people who refuse to live in unity are the Palestinians and Arabs who do not want to come to the table and negotiate, have rejected peace offers, and REJECTED THE ORIGINAL 2 STATE SOLUTION WHICH WAS 1947 UN PARTITION PLAN.  The Palestinians had opportunities for statehood so many times and rejected. That is the sole reason there is no Palestinian state. It is not Israel’s or the world’s requirement to make them happy. Making them happy would be to “wipe Israel off of the map.” Why does the world have to do as the Palestinians demand just because they were displeased with the LEGAL partitioning of the land?

Jews do not deny anyone else’s relationship to the holy site. NOT SO WITH THE PALESTINIANS. During the 2000 Camp David Summit, Yasser Arafat said that no Jewish Temple ever existed on the Temple Mount. A year later, the Palestinian Authority–appointed Mufti of Jerusalem, Ikrima Sabri, told the German publication Die Welt, “There is not [even] the smallest indication of the existence of a Jewish temple on this place in the past. In the whole city, there is not even a single stone indicating Jewish history.”  HISTORY AND ARCHEOLOGY PROVE OTHERWISE. Its identity with the site of Solomon’s Temple is beyond dispute. This, too, is the spot, according to universal belief, on which David built there an altar unto the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.” More authoritatively, the Koran—the holy book of Islam—describes Solomon’s construction of the First Temple (34:13) and recounts the destruction of the First and Second Temples (17:7). Just to name a few examples, though I shouldn't have to give a rundown of history.

Jews were even going to allow the internationalization of Jerusalem! When Jordan invaded East Jerusalem, it divided the city for the first time in its history and drove thousands of Jews—whose families had lived in the city for centuries—into exile. Jordan barred Jews and Israeli Muslims from their holy sites. TALK ABOUT NOT LIVING IN UNITY WITH OTHERS! PREPOSTEROUS! Consequently, the UN partition plan, including its proposal that Jerusalem be internationalized, was overtaken by events. Side note: these are also the people who celebrated in the streets passing out candy when 9/11 occurred.
Jews are not the ones who create issues of not living in unity with everyone. Jews have 4 quarters for 4 different groups of people. Even the Temple Mount- Muslims won't let anyone but themselves there- they claim it is there’s even though it is holy to others too. Israel does not do that, yet is blamed for not being fair! While Jews allow everyone to come to the Kotel. Israel does not deny access to anyone. Even recently, there have been more citizens of Muslim countries visiting Israel, while several Muslims countries do not allow Israelis to visit there’s. There are 13 countries that do not recognize the state of Israel and do not admit Israeli passport holders (photo below).

AND IF THE SITES ARE SO HOLY TO THE MUSLIMS, WHY DO THEY DISRESPECT THEM? When Jordan took over Jerusalem, the place was in ruins!! No way to treat one’s holy site, eh? Many Muslims, with the approval, and sometimes incitement, of the Waqf and Mahmoud Abbas’s Palestinian Authority, have desecrated their own holy places by using them as armories and instigating riots against non-Muslim visitors and the police trying to protect them. “We contaminate our mosques with our own hands and feet, and then blame Jews for desecrating Islamic holy sites,” according to Middle East scholar Bassam Tawil. “If anyone is desecrating Islamic holy sites, it is those who bring explosives, stones, and firebombs into Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Jews who visit the Temple Mount do not bring with them stones, bombs, or clubs. It is young Muslim men who are desecrating our holy sites with their ‘filthy feet’” (a reference to Abbas’s slur against Jews visiting the Temple Mount). One explanation for Palestinian violence on the Temple Mount is that riots are a proven method for provoking an Israeli reaction with the intent of tarring Israel’s reputation.

Israel is holy to all religions- specifically Jerusalem- but it is not THE holiest for the Muslims as they claim it to be. They only started claiming that to be true when Jews came into the picture. Jerusalem is only Islam’s 3rdholiest site and they do not even pray towards it like Jews do. Only after the destruction of the Second Temple, control of the Temple Mount passed through several conquering powers. It was during the early period of Muslim control, in the seventh century, that the Dome of the Rock was built on the site of the ancient temples. And they don’t even treat it that well while claiming everyone else is the issue.

QUESTION 2:
Why does it have to be a Jewish run government if the indigenous people are Muslim and according to their beliefs, it is their chosen land as well?

ANSWER:
Muslims are not indigenous to Israel. It is the Jews who are the aboriginal tribe based on their presence in the Holy Land for more than two thousand years. Of all the people who lived in the area at that time, such as Phoenicians, Moabites, Philistines, only the Jews remain today. The Arabs, however, are not native to “Palestine”; they are aboriginal to Arabia. “Judaism, the Hebrew language, and the Jewish people were established in the Holy Land for about a thousand years” BEFORE THE EMERGENCE OF ISLAM.

If it is their chosen land then they can live there too. They had opportunities for peace and refused. So I am not so sure they really want it so bad. It seems they claim they do because they need to claim the Israelis are causing issues for their desire for “freedom” and “statehood.” If they want to live peacefully among others, then stop bombing us and sending terrorists to murder us. If they want to move around peacefully, stop threatening Israelis. What are Israelis supposed to do? Allow terrorists to enter and murder them? Americans wouldn't allow this. British wouldn’t. Why do Israelis have to? GAZA WAS GIVEN TO PALESTINIANS AND LOOK WHAT THERE IS NOW. CHAOS! This answers your question.

Why can’t it be a Jewish government? (I want an actual answer to this.) What is the issue with it being a Jewish state? It was created to be.

Besides, there ARE Arabs and Christians sitting in the government. An Arab in the past has even sentenced a Jew to prison. Arabs have so many freedoms and rights in Israel that they don't even have in Muslim countries!

On July 19, 2018, Israel adopted a new Basic Law: Israel – The Nation State of the Jewish People. The law provoked controversy inside and outside of Israel.

This clause is consistent with the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine, which sought to “encourage . . . close settlement by Jews.” It does not “prescribe or authorize any particular policies” unlike, for example, the state constitution of Hawaii, which authorizes land policies to promote homesteading by ethnic Hawaiians and provides preferential land policies for them. Israel’s Supreme Court has ruled that Arabs have a right to create residential communities in Israel that exclude Jews but Jews do not have the same right to exclude Arabs.
One indication of the double standard applied to Israel is that no international uproar followed Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ declaration that not “A SINGLE ISRAELI” would be permitted to live in a Palestinian state (Noah Browning, “Abbas wants ‘not a single Israeli’ in future Palestinian state,” Reuters, July 29, 2013).). WHY IS NO ONE CALLING OUT ABOUT THIS STATEMENT OF HIS (besides for me, of course).

In the case of the Nation State Law, members of Knesset voted by a 62-55 majority to approve the legislation. This is democracy in action. Still, like Americans, Israelis can challenge laws in court, and three Knesset members have already done so, one sign of the health of Israel’s democracy. Another indication is the ability of Israelis to vote for new representatives who could revoke or alter the law if they can convince a majority of all Knesset members a change is warranted.

At What Point Does Israel’s Being Moral Actually Become Immoral?

I wrote this exactly a year ago in November, which reminded me that the recent escalation we just had in Israel marked a year since last year's major escalation with Gaza. I figured I'd share it since I spent the time writing it and never actually did anything with it. Perhaps some of you will agree with my views. PDF here

Opinion: At What Point Does Israel’s Being Moral Actually Become Immoral?

In light of the current events in southern Israel along the Gaza border, there is much frustration consuming not only members of the Israeli government but also Israelis and Zionists alike.

November of last year saw a record-high number of rockets targeting southern Israel, making it the heaviest bombardment since the 2014 war between Israel and Hamas, the terrorist organization governing the Palestinians living in Gaza. This attack came after months of Palestinians flying incendiary kites and balloons into Israel and starting fires along the Gaza border, both of which have resulted in an overwhelming amount of agricultural terrorism. This attack came several days after Israel allowed $15 million to enter Gaza from Qatar, in order to get Hamas to stop the riots on the border and the burning of Israeli land.

When Hamas called a cease-fire right after targeting Israel with about 460 rockets, Israel accepted it. It is a common practice for Hamas to attack Israel, receive an equal and restraint-focused response from Israel, and then to decide to pause its little game when it can't face what it essentially asked for.

Israel’s Security Cabinet on Wednesday reversed its decision not to permit the Qatari transfer of $15 million, the third installment approved by Israel’s government, in order to ease tensions and avoid a potential humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The initial decision not to permit the funding stemmed from renewed Palestinian rioting and violence along the Gaza-Israel border

Despite multiple opportunities for statehood and peace, continuous aid and support from Israel, as well as receiving international aid- the Palestinian people are still represented under refugee status. In fact, they have held this status for the longest amount of time out of all refugee populations to ever exist. This isn't too surprising, considering the fact that humanitarian aid is used to fund rockets, terror tunnels and incendiary devices, and to pay terrorists and their families. While Abbas continues to admit to using the money for these reasons alone, the international community and Israel sustain this practice directly through their actions.

Israel even gave up Gaza for peace back in 2005. Thousands of Israelis were forcibly removed from their homes by the Israeli government, and those families are now the ones dealing with rockets being sent from the very land they gave up so that they would never have to deal with such terror at all. The government that forced them out of their homes for peace is the very same government that now will not take the necessary steps to protect them from harm and imminent death. Despite all of this, Israel continues to provide the Palestinians with humanitarian aid because the Palestinian leadership does not.

Although there are Palestinians who want peace and are willing to work alongside Israelis, can we rely on this argument alone? Look what happened just several months ago with the Barkan terrorist. Can we take chances with Israeli lives? Do their lives not matter as much as the Palestinians'? Although much of the world seems to think so, why does Israel seem to accept this view? Even if the government states that it does not hold this view, its actions (or its lack thereof) send a different message.

While some argue that it is important for Israel to provide aid for those in the Gaza Strip who are suffering at the hands of their government, others argue that Israel must put its people first- as any other country would and should do. They question why Israel must hold up its moral standards when so many Palestinians do not. Why the double standard?
Why is Israel, a country of good moral standing, negotiating with terrorists? Why does the fate of the security of the state of Israel have to be under the terms of Hamas? Even more critical, is it moral to give those who hate you and could potentially cause more harm to you and others (sending children as suicide bombers, targeting civilians, forcing civilians to enter what are essentially war zones) any form of aid?

It is unfortunate that one must even grapple with the concept of morality, however, what more can be expected when dealing with terrorists? While I feel an innate desire to maintain a "moral" view on this issue and feel pain at the thought of others suffering, I do not view these ideas as a lack of moral clarity. Not anymore. Not at this point in the game. I can no longer bear to see Israelis living in bomb shelters and crying out for help. They have sacrificed more than enough. Nobody else will help them. How could the people running the single Jewish state abandon them too?

We must question what our sensitivity has done for the betterment of the situation, people's lives, our country, and the peace process. Our sensitivity does not seem to have helped us all that much.

At what point has Israel's being moral actually become immoral? Israel has continued along this path of providing aid for so long, and Israeli lives are still threatened and directly affected by the actions of those who the country is upholding. How can we sacrifice the safety and wellbeing of our people, for those who would not consider, even for a moment, sacrificing for us?

How can Israel justify the sending of millions of dollars and aid when Hamas is still holding the bodies of Israel’s captured soldiers and when the Palestinian people celebrate the murder of Israeli civilians? What kind of message does this send to our soldiers, those who have died for Israel, to Israelis in the south and in general, and to the world?

"Palestinians"

All people born in British Mandatory Palestine between 1923-1948 (today's Israel) had "Palestine" stamped on their passports at the time. But when they were called Palestinians, the Arabs were offended. They complained: "We are not Palestinians, we are Arabs. The Palestinians are the Jews".

After invading Arab armies were routed and the Arabs who had fled the war wanted to return, they were considered a fifth column and not invited back. The Arabs who had loyally remained in Israel during the war, however, and their descendants, are still there and make up one fifth of the population. They are known as Israeli Arabs; they have the same rights as Christians and Jews, except they are not required to serve in the army unless they wish to.

"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality, today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese." – PLO leader Zuheir Mohsen, interview in the Dutch newspaper Trouw, March 1977.

When People Cry Out "Abuse"

What’s abuse is Hamas taking international aid meant for the Palestinians and using it to murder Israel’s people.
What’s abuse is allowing a terrorist organization to bring women and children to another country’s border in order to throw stones, as well as incendiary kites and balloons at it.
What’s abuse is putting guns into Palestinian children’s hands and teaching them how to use them.
What’s abuse is Hamas using Palestinian people as human shields- hiding under hospitals, schools, and civilians’ homes.
This woman should be ashamed for ignoring the root of the problem and for turning a blind eye.

She should be ashamed for working against the only democratic country in the Middle East-Israel 🇮🇱- the only country in the region fighting for the interests of the free world.

PIJ and Hamas- Their Relationship

Hamas has officially joined PIJ in firing rockets. Read on to understand the relationship between PIJ (Palestinian Islamic Jihad) and Hamas, and what is currently going on in Israel:

⚠️The Iranian-backed Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), whose senior commander Bahaa Abu al-Ata was killed by Israel on Tuesday, has been causing headaches not only for Israel but also for the Egyptians and Hamas.
⚠️Hamas, meanwhile, seemed to be very cautious in its response to the assassination. By Tuesday afternoon, it remained unclear whether Hamas has officially joined PIJ and other groups in firing rockets at Israel. Hamas is reluctant to engage in a new war with Israel because it knows that would mean the end of its rule.
⚠️The PIJ decision to keep the conflict with Israel on low flames has worried Hamas, some of whose leaders seem to be worried that an all-out military confrontation with Israel would end their rule over the Gaza Strip. In recent weeks, sources close to Hamas said that the movement has been exerting pressure on PIJ to refrain from launching any attack on Israel that could lead to another war in the Gaza Strip.
⚠️HAMAS IS aware that Palestinians living under its rule have yet to recover from the 2014 war with Israel. Hamas has since failed to adequately compensate thousands of families whose houses were destroyed or damaged during the war. Moreover, Hamas has failed to provide real solutions to the economic crisis in the Gaza Strip, where Palestinian activists have recently been planning to renew protests against the high cost of living, increased taxes and soaring unemployment.
⚠️Hamas wants to preserve the ceasefire understandings with Israel so as to remain in power. PIJ, on the other hand, wants to continue launching terror attacks against Israel for two reasons. First, to appease their patrons in Tehran, and, second, to scores points on the Palestinian street by showing that, unlike Hamas, they are not prepared to make any concessions to the “Zionist enemy.”
⚠️PIJ is hoping that even if it suffers major military losses, it will nevertheless make political and popular gains from a confrontation with Israel. PIJ sees itself as the natural replacement for Hamas, if and when the latter’s rule over the Gaza Strip ends. A mini-war with Israel, PIJ believes, will further strengthen its standing among Palestinians.

⚠️All eyes are now set on Cairo, whose General Intelligence Service has previously managed to arrange a number of ceasefire agreements between the Gaza-based groups and Israel.

On Bernie Sanders' Mid-East "Peace" Plan

He would like to stop sending military aid to Israel (the USA's greatest ally in the Middle East) and give it to Hamas ruled Gaza instead.

1. The governance of the Gaza Strip is carried out by the Hamas administration. By sending money to Gaza the money falls into the hands of Hamas like how it has in the past. Hamas is a terrorist organization that has withheld foreign aid from the Palestinians so sending aid to them would actually be extremely irresponsible. Last I heard the USA classifies Hamas as a terrorist organization so how would sending money to them be acceptable? Also, this would be taxpayer money and I’m personally not in favor of helping people who celebrated 9/11. 😡 Not quite sure why he is. These are people who stated after all that they refuse to live alongside Jews and sing about murdering all of us (like actually kindergarten graduations revolve around this concept- Anti-Semitism and Anti-Western values is a part of their culture like how super-sizing everything is part of American culture. Nonchalant.)

2. Israel is America’s greatest ally in the Middle East. Even if it wasn’t, how does Sanders feel it is morally honest to give terrorists the opportunity to attack more innocent Israeli civilians? The USA has benefited greatly from Israel receiving this aid, as Israel shares the same values and goals as the USA and acts on both countries’ interests in the region and beyond.
3. Gaza was given to the Palestinians for peace in 2005. Thousands of Israelis and millions worth of crops/greenhouses were destroyed. Why should Israel suffer because the Palestinians elected Hamas, which uses the Palestinians as human shields and refuses to give the Palestinians simple humanitarian necessities?

Two-State Solution?

Someone posted on Facebook about how calling for a two-state solution could be seen as being antisemitic.

While I do not believe that those who do call for this solution are doing so out of animosity, I do think that people who claim a two-solution is possible are either ignorant or ignore the reality of the situation which is that the Palestinian leadership and many Palestinians have made it clear that they have no intention of living peacefully with Jews as their neighbors.

This was what I wrote in response.

"Of course a two-state solution would be ideal but many Palestinians and the leadership which they elected are (very openly) vehemently against living with Jews as their neighbors. Even in the West Bank where you have Jews and Palestinians living side by side, we have run into so many issues (and lost lives) because many Palestinians simply do not believe Jews belong there. So when people are against the two-state solution many are coming from that perspective which is that it clearly won’t work. One side simply refuses to be satisfied. A Palestinian state was offered many times. Land was given up (Gaza in 2005 look at what happened) and offers were rejected. So to say a two-state solution is the way to go sounds nice but it hasn’t ever worked in the past. And knowing what Palestinians say openly and proudly about not ever going to live with Jews, as well as the number of Jews killed because of that mentality... it’s sort of fair to see why people might think it’s anti-Semitic. Jews have done enough to appease and shouldn’t have to put their safety on the line any longer to make people who hate them satisfied which is what a two-state solution would take. Calling for a two-state solution is ignoring the facts and essentially saying that Israel should put its safety on the line and concede to further abuse."

Some Facts About CAIR

⚠️Quick To Defend Alleged Terrorists, CAIR Even Questioned Al Qaeda 9/11 Role https://www.investigativeproject.org/629/quick-to-defend-alleged-terrorists-cair

⚠️Repeated statements by CAIR's leaders illustrate the group's extremist and anti-Semitic positions. http://www.investigativeproject.org/documents/misc/120.pdf

⚠️To say that The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has contorted logic and language to avoid criticizing its early patron, the terrorist group Hamas, would be damning enough. But the full truth is even worse: CAIR and its leaders have, over the years, actively supported Hamas positions and regularly done their best to discredit critics of militant Islamic activity. http://www.investigativeproject.org/documents/misc/113.pdf

⚠️The full dossier "CAIR Exposed," can be found here: http://www.investigativeproject.org/documents/misc/122.pdf

⚠️CAIR was officially designated a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates in 2014, placing it in the company of Al Qaeda, Islamic State and others. CAIR has a long history of affiliation with the terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah. CAIR members have often defended the actions of Hamas in Gaza. Further, FBI investigators uncovered evidence establishing CAIR's place in the "Palestine Committee," which was a Muslim Brotherhood-created network aimed at helping Hamas in the United States, according to a report by the Investigative Project on Terrorism. In 2009, US District Court Judge Jorge Solis ruled that there is "at least a prima facie case as to CAIR's involvement in a conspiracy to support Hamas." https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.jpost.com/Diaspora/Ilhan-Omar-to-speak-at-terror-linked-banquet-581083/amp

Ilhan Omar Wants to Sanction Israel But Not Turkey- Some Info On Turkey

Ilhan Omar is one of the members of Congress who introduced a bill to legalize boycott, divestment, and sanctions against Israel. Yet this is what she wrote in response to Trump imposing sanctions before lifting them and then threatening more sanctions.

Given her relationship with Turkey, it’s easy to understand why she wouldn’t want sanctions against it. A previous post about her relationship with Turkey can be found here.

The article can be found here.

She wrote: “Research has shown that sanctions rarely achieve their desired goals. In the worst-case scenario, they hurt the people of a country — generally the very people we’re purporting to help — without making a dent in the country’s behavior. And in the case of human rights abusers, research suggests that more abuses typically occur with economic sanctions in place than without them.”

Harvard Law Students Applauding for Terrorist

YOU HAVE HARVARD LAW STUDENTS LISTENING TO A WOMAN WHO SUPPORTS THE MURDER OF INNOCENT CIVILIANS (AKA TERRORISM). Scary as anything.

Israel is a democratic country that has every right to defend itself and has LEGALLY (as it 1000% should), yet this lunatic has law students attending one of the most prestigious institutions in the country clapping at the idea of removing Israel's right to defend itself against the same terrorism that targeted the USA on 9/11 and that continues to threaten our values!

The woman that Noura endorsed in the tweet is Rasmeah Odeh, a convicted Palestinian terrorist responsible for the murder of two college students in 1969.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Today, I went with my colleagues to hear Noura Erakat speak at the Harvard Law school. Noura is a lawyer and "human rights" activist who vehemently opposes Zionism and any form of Jewish self-determination.
I sat quietly through the entire discussion and decided to challenge her long record of support for prosecuting former IDF soldiers.

I asked: "Noura, I served in the IDF. Should I be prosecuted?"
Noura responded: Well, that depends. What did you do in the army?
I responded: "I was a combat soldier with the Paratroopers."
Noura responded: "Maybe, there might even be people in this room who will prosecute you. They will hopefully be successful"

80% of the classroom, filled with nearly 120 students, exploded in applause.
How interesting that law students attending one of the most prestigious institutions in the country immediately dispensed with the presumption of innocence to demonize Israel's military.

What the Media Won't Tell You: Jews and Arabs Co-Exist in Israel; They Save Each Other's Lives

What the media won’t tell you! People in Israel coexist!! SHARE

The only place in the Middle East where Jews are saving Arabs and Arabs are saving Jews.

On his way to a dinner in London, the president of United Hatzalah, Eli Beer, performed CPR on an Arab cardiac arrest victim in Ben-Gurion International Airport.

They Claim "Climate Apartheid' and Now I Can't Stop Laughing

Climate apartheid??? 😅😂
All you can do with this is just troll 🤣🤣
By the way, this has been a thing. Israel in the past has been accused of stealing the water from clouds that could be raining over Iran 🤣😭

Ireland 🇮🇪 has become the most anti-Israel nation on the planet outside of Iran and the Middle East.

It is about to enshrine into law the modern equivalent of discrimination against Jews: BDS. It is the first national parliament in Europe to do so.

Israel Tops Environmental Performance, world leader in the environmental movement. Israel is singled out for its wall

An amazing article written by a former professor of mine:

🔺Israel ranks No. 19 in the most recent Environmental Performance Index, just behind New Zealand and the Netherlands, just ahead of Japan and Australia, and in fact several places above Canada and the U.S.

🔺By contrast, Gaza, which has been a totally self-governing territory, administered by Hamas since 2007, is an environmental disaster with unsafe drinking water, poor sanitation and contaminated beaches. To be sure, the locals blame the Israelis for these conditions, but the truth is, Hamas does almost nothing to protect the environment.

🔺Israel is a world leader in the environmental movement, with technological developments in drip irrigation, solar energy, desalination, aeroponic farming and more — much of which it exports to developing nations, especially in Africa.

🔺Not only Israel, but also Egypt has constructed a wall on its border with Gaza. To repeat the above question: is there some reason why only Israel is criticized for this action? If such criticism is merited, should Egypt be similarly criticized?

🔺Why single out Israel for such a wall? Such walls also exist (or are presently under construction) between the following countries: Botswana and Zimbabwe, South Africa and Mozambique, Argentina and Paraguay, India and Myanmar, India and Bangladesh, Iran and Pakistan, Pakistan and Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and Yemen, Thailand and Malaysia, Hungary and Serbia, Hungary and Slovenia, Macedonia and Greece, Norway and Russia, Slovenia and Croatia, among others.

🔺To single out Israel for unwarranted criticism, especially in light of its stellar environmental record, tells us more about SJP than it does about climate change issues both in the Middle East and throughout the world.

Students for Justice in Palestine, where is your criticism of China, which has detained approximately a million Uyghurs in re-education camps, in an effort to denude its culture of Islam?
Where is your criticism of Syria, where a despotic leader and his regime have killed hundreds of thousands of their own citizens?
Where is your criticism of all the parties engaged in war in Yemen — the Houthis, the Saudis, their allies and more — which have brought death, famine, cholera and destruction to the beautiful country? Does your silence imply that you approve of the Houthi army populating its ranks with child soldiers?
Where is your criticism of the various parties in South Sudan, where the civil war has killed 400,000 innocent people and has led to 1.75 million people being displaced from their homes?
Where is your criticism of Iran with its well-known human rights violations against the LGBTQ+ community?
Where is your criticism of India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, with its nationalist tendencies, which recently has taken various steps to suppress the Muslim minority in the country?

By contrast, in Israel and Palestine, there have been no mass killings, no mass deportations, no wars that have brought famine and cholera, no mass re-education camps, no removal of citizenship, no detentions of academics and journalists: none of this.

Finally, returning to climate change issues, where is your criticism of Indonesia, which indiscriminately cuts down the rain forest to make room for palm tree groves, actions which have caused – indeed, as you were gathering on Friday – the worst air pollution on the planet?
Do you not watch the news? Are you not concerned citizens of the world? Or is your attention so focused on Israel and Palestine, about which you invent calumnies, that you wear blinders to the truly crucial trouble spots in the world?

Supporting Terrorism Against Jews and the Destuction of the Only State IS Anti-Semitic... Also this Democratic Florida Congressional Candidate Is (Not Surprisingly) Ignorant

This post is in response to the article linked below:

First point: supporting the Palestinians having their own state is obviously not anti-Semitic. The issue is supporting a government, leadership, and individuals who support the murder of Israelis and Jews or the eradication of the only Jewish state. Palestinians have had many opportunities for peace and have rejected them because they simply do not accept having Jews as neighbors. Supporting this hatred IS anti-Semitic. The issue is that many people do not know what they are supporting. For some reason they hear about all the lies around Israel bulldozing houses with people inside (idiotic, really, to believe such a thing)- yet fail to hear about, or simply ignore, Palestinians carrying out terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians. Knowing what Palestinians say openly and proudly about not ever going to live with Jews, as well as the number of Jews killed because of that mentality... it’s fair to see why people think it’s anti-Semitic. As far as a two-state solution: that was what the 1947 partition Plan was!!! Rejected! As well as all the the other offers. Jews have done enough to appease and shouldn’t have to put their safety on the line any longer to make people who hate them satisfied which is what a two state solution would take. If you want the Palestinaisn to have a state, get them to come to the table. and no- Israel is not repsonsible for makign them happy and satisfied. We already saw what happened with Gaza in 2005.

Second: How could this woman be so IGNORANT to believe that Israel is bulldozing homes with people inside of them? Israel can't even defend its own borders without being attacked by the international community, let alone bulldozing someone's home for no reason (especially with people inside). More regarding "for no resaon statement" below. Like I told a Pakistani member in this group, Israel is not interested in killing people. It has important things to do... like surviving. It already recieves enough negative attention and you think Israel is going to bulldoze homes with people inside?? This leads me to share information about the bulldozing news (pinned above at the top of this group as an announcement), but I will share it here as well:

Be very careful about believing what you see in the media. Pallywood is real. Palestinians like to create propoganda showing injured civilians, yet behind the scens footage shows these "injured victims" (aka actors) laughing and running. The media loves to victimize the Palestinians and so will coddle basically anything they claim to be true when in fact it's all lies.

Israeli authorities give notices saying when buildings are constructed without the correct permits. Many are also locateded on sites where houses have been razed before which means that owners was aware of this and ignore it. These illegal buildings also pose a risk to IDF stationed on the border.

There are Palestinians building homes very close to the border with Area C, and the IDF sees this as a security threat. Israel has dealt with issues like this in the past, with Palestinians building closer and closer to Area C. We know this is dangerous for Israelis living in other parts of the West Bank (areas where they are legally allowed to enter, Jews are not allowed to enter area A as it is run completely by the Palestinian Authority). After all, it had been near Bethlehem where Dvir Sorek was murdered not very long ago.

Furthermore, many Palestinians do not recognize Israel’s borders and so claim that a certain area is under PA control although it is not. They will simply state that where they are standing and 20 miles over into Israeli territory is theirs as well. This is what happens when you are trying to make peace with a people who ignore all your efforts and legal boundaries. It creates issues. Then when they build in illegal areas and have their buildings destroyed (with fair warning!!!), they blame Israel. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND! This occurrence is not uncommon. Many Palestinains do not recognize Israel and so therefore do not acknowledge Israel's borders.

Hezbollah

🛑 Hezbollah is an Iranian proxy in Lebanon working with the Palestinians Islamic Jihad (also an Iranian proxy) towards the shared goal to annihilate Israel.
🛑 Its 1985 manifesto reportedly states "our struggle will end only when this entity [Israel] is obliterated. We recognize no treaty with it, no ceasefire, and no peace agreements."
🛑 Hezbollah was conceived by Muslim clerics and funded by Iran primarily to harass Israel. Its leaders were followers of Ayatollah Khomeini. Religious extremist Ali Khamenei has been Iran’s Supreme Leader since 1989 and remains the most powerful figure in the government. He is responsible for Iran’s countless human rights violations, sponsorship of global terrorism, and violations of the UN’s nuclear non-proliferation treaty.
⁉️ Germany 🇩🇪 will not follow Britain’s lead in declaring Hezbollah a terrorist organization, a senior official was quoted as saying on Friday, a decision that may fuel tensions with Saudi Arabia and the United States. View article here

Skewed News, Illegal Building by Palestinians, Lack of Recognition of Israel's Legal Borders

SKEWED NEWS ALERT and learning opportunity!

A couple of weeks ago, a member asked about this and I am re-sharing it because others may have the same question or may be confused when they see something like this in the news. PLEASE read below where it says “IMPORTANT.”

QUESTION: Does anyone have information as to what the truth is in this situation? I fail to believe the article is truthful. (Article here)

ANSWER: In the article it does say that Israeli authorities gave her a notice saying the building was constructed without the correct permits. It was also located on a site where houses have been razed twice before. Clearly the owner was aware of this and there were issues before, which she ignored. These illegal buildings also pose a risk to IDF stationed on the border.
There are Palestinians building homes very close to the border with Area C, and the IDF sees this as a security threat. Israel has dealt with issues like this in the past, with Palestinians building closer and closer to Area C. After all, it had been near Bethlehem where Dvir Sorek was murdered not very long ago.

IMPORTANT: Many times, the media will simply listen to claims made by Palestinians and other news sources. They will blindly believe that the area they are referring to is truly under control of the Palestinian Authority (PA). HOWEVER, as we know, many Palestinians do not recognize Israel’s borders and so claim that a certain area is under PA control although it is not. I do not know what the specific situation was in this case, but this occurrence is not uncommon. Many Palestinains do not recognize Israel and so therefore do not acknowledge Israel's borders. We also know that the media loves to victimize the Palestinians and so will coddle basically anything they claim to be true when in fact it's all lies.

Some more info on Palestinians and Area C:

Ever since a decision in January 2012, the EU has been committed to the expansion of illegal Palestinian settlement in Area C in conjunction with the PA. This is in blatant disregard of the Oslo accords, which the EU purports to uphold. The objective is to create continuous Palestinian settlement throughout the West Bank and thereby isolate and strangle Israeli communities.

This arrangement raises numerous issues such as settlement building in Area C: According to the Oslo Accords, Israel is legally allowed to build there i.e. the Palestinian negotiators agreed to it. Despite this, Israel is often accused of settlement expansion against the wishes of both the Palestinians and many in the wider international community. Also, the influence of the European Union and other foreign governments: Palestinian communities in Area C have benefited from foreign aid and development. The Israeli government considers this to be political meddling. European aid for Palestinian construction in Area C is regarded as illegal by Israel.

It is often alleged that Israeli settlement in Judea and Samaria is “gobbling-up” Palestinian lands in Area C. This is nonsense, as a straightforward encounter with basic facts makes clear that most of Area C is breathtakingly empty: the Judean desert, the northern Samarian desert and the Jordan Valley. These precincts are mostly nature reserves, firing zones and grazing grounds, amounting to more than half of the land in Area C (200,000 of the 350,000 hectares, or 500,000 of 860,000 acres).

All Jewish and Arab inhabitation of Area C cover only about 40% of the land mass. That consists of about 200,000 Palestinians in 25 towns and hundreds of unorganized hamlets, with homes sitting on 8% of the territory and agriculture on another 25%. There are also 400,000 Israelis living in Area C, and their settlements sit on only 2.5% of Area C (which means that their population density is currently more than six times as much), with plans for expansion to another 7%.

Palestinians Celebrating 9/11

Sickening 😡 Palestinians celebrating the fall of the World Trade Center on 9/11. “Some people did something” said Ilhan Omar. Let’s make it clear who did what, shall we?
As opposed to Israel, which commemorates 9/11 every year and has the only monument outside of the US that includes all the names of the victims.

We must educate as well as commemorate so that when we say “never again” it can actually mean something. This extremism, hatred, and terrorism is alive and well.
I am writing this not to point fingers, but to share something very important that people overlook. The hatred we see over in Israel (the only democaracy in the Middle East and America’s greatest ally there) is the same hatred we saw on 9/11 and that is still very much existent. After all, the organizations created for and working towards Israel’s destruction are the same organizations that assisted in 9/11. These organizations call for the demise of both Israel and the United States.
The Muslim Brotherhood wrote out an actual plan back in 2015, focused on the infiltration and destruction of the United States. More about this here: https://israelclub247.blogspot.com/2019/08/terrorism-against-israel-is-terrorism.html
The primary state backers of the Muslim Brotherhood are Qatar and Turkey. Ever wonder why Qatar sends millions to Hamas?! Because guess what... Hamas (as well as the PIJ) is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. Hamas and the PIJ are also Iranian proxies and working with Hezbollah. Both Iran and Hezbollah assisted Al-Qaeda in 9/11. The Brotherhood has direct ties to Al-Qaeda, which was responsible for 9/11. I will stress again and again the relationships that you need to understand.
The hatred we saw on 9/11 is the same hatred Israel faces daily. Also, Al Qaeda leader Zawahri marked this 9/11 anniversary by calling for jihadists to attack both Israel and the US.
If you aren't already familiar with this information, now is the time to learn. We must protect our freedom and our allies who help keep this dream alive. To learn more, visit: https://www.facebook.com/groups/538622649527758/

List of Opportunities Palestinians Had For Peace… And Rejected

Ilhan Omar

Mrs. Omar has publicly called for the protection of Hormuud. Yet Hormuud Telecom has been mentioned as a sponsor of terrorism, not once, not twice, but many, many times.
What is Hormuud?
Hormuud Telecom Somalia Inc. is a private Somalian telecommunications company founded by Ahmed Nur Ali Jimale in April of 2002.

The United Nations Security Council’s Report of the Secretary-General on the situation in Somalia, dated 20 July 2009, contained the following paragraphs involving the activities of Ahmed Nur Ali Jimale, his company Hormuud and his direct support for al-Shabaab, a jihadist militant Islamic terrorist group in Somalia (pages 10-11):
“Ali Ahmed Nur Jim’ale (Jim’ale) has served in leadership roles with the former Somali Council of Islamic Courts, also known as the Somali Islamic Courts Union, which was a radical-Islamist element. The most radical elements of the Somali Islamic Courts Union eventually formed the group known as al-Shabaab.
Al-Shabaab was listed for targeted sanctions in April 2010 by the United Nations Security Council committee established pursuant to resolutions 751 (1992) and 1907 concerning Somalia and Eritrea (the “Somalia/Eritrea Sanctions Committee”).
“According to the July 18, 2011 report of the Somalia/Eritrea Sanctions Committee’s Monitoring Group (S/2011/433), Jim’ale is identified as a prominent businessman and figure in the al-Shabaab charcoal-sugar trading cycle and benefitting from privileged relationships with al-Shabaab.”
“Jim’ale is identified as one of al-Shabaab’s chief financiers and is ideologically aligned with al-Shabaab.”
As of fall 2007, Jim’ale established a front company in Djibouti for extremist activities called the Investors Group. The short term goal of the group was, through the funding of extremist activities and weapons purchases, to destabilize Somaliland. The group assisted in smuggling small arms from Eritrea through Djibouti into the 5th region of Ethiopia where extremists received the shipment. As of mid-2008, Jim’ale continued to operate the Investors Group.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The son of a victim of the September 11 terror attacks criticized Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar and "The Squad" during a remembrance ceremony at Ground Zero in New York City on Wednesday.
Nicholas Haros Jr. of New Jersey wore a shirt that referenced Omar's March remarks before the Council on American-Islamic Relations, in which she said, "CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties." After reading some victims' names Wednesday at the event commemorating the 18th anniversary of the attacks, Haros Jr. said, "Some people did something," while pointing to his shirt, on which those words were printed. The moment came as he spoke of his late mother, 76-year-old Francis Haros, as well as friends and co-workers who died in the World Trade Center attacks.
"'Some people did something,' said a freshman congresswoman from Minnesota. To support and justify the creation of CAIR. Today I am here to respond to you exactly who did what to whom," he said as some audience members applauded. "Madam, objectively speaking, we know who and what was done. There is no uncertainty about that. Why your confusion?"
"On that day, 19 Islamic terrorists, members of Al Qaeda killed over 3,000 people and caused billions in dollars of economic damage. Is that clear? But as to whom? I was attacked, your relatives and friends were attacked. Our constitutional freedoms were attacked. And our nation's founding on Judeo-Christian principles were attacked. That's what some people did. Got that now?" he continued. "We are here today, congresswoman, to tell you and The Squad just who did what to whom. Show respect in honoring them, please. American patriotism -- in your position demand it."
